The EASN Association is glad to announce a formal gathering of the Interest Group on "Space technologies and application" next October 2024, aside of the 14th EASN International Conference in Thessaloniki, Greece.

The event aims to:

• bring together all EASN members who have an active involvement in space research activities
• share information on:
  • the current EASN activities in the field of Space Technologies
  • the establishment of the European Association S.P.A.C.E AISBL with partners from industry, SMEs, RTOs and academia
  • the establishment of a Co-Programmed European Partnership on Globally Competitive Space Systems within the framework program "Horizon Europe" endorsed by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the EU
  • the outcomes of the Coordination and Support Action (CSA) ASTRAIOS with a focus on academic space education issues
• Provide the forum for an open discussion between all IG members for a better coordination, prioritization of Space Research Topics and an update of the EASNs White Paper for Space Research Technologies
