The responsibilities of the Regional Contact Points are
- To establish points of contact in the universities in their region that have aeronautics and aeronautics related capabilities
- Through these university points of contact, gather information for the Network Database
- To distribute questionnaires and to follow up requests for information
- Filter, assess, evaluate and input information into the database
- Act as a representative for the universities in the region on the Network Steering Committee
- To be responsible for disseminating information to the institutions in their region and soliciting proposals for new Interest Groups and workshops
- To gather information on aerospace SME in the region.
