5th FP7 call: EASN endorsed projects
Twelve academia driven Level 1 project proposals were endorsed by EASN for the 5th FP7 call. Of the 12 submitted proposals, 11 were successful in the evaluation process and 3 (and possibly 4, depending on the final number of projects to be funded) have obtained EC funding. A more accurate analysis of the results and the lessons learned from the process will follow shortly.
Funded projects: IN-LIGHT-eWINDOW: Development of innovative light blocking electro- and thermo- chromic coatings for energy efficient windows IASS: Improving the aircraft safety by self healing structure and protecting nanofillers QICOM: Quantitative inspection of complex composite aeronautic parts using advanced X-ray techniques
High in reserve list: i-VISION: Immersive semantics-based virtual environments for the design and validation of human centered aircraft cockpits CORSAIR: New solutions for manufacturing and repair of Ni alloys components
