Description of the Institute / Laboratory
The Aviation Institute was born by H.G. nr. 241/29.03.1991 as a component of former Institute for Aerospace Constructions - INCREST, founded in 1968. INAV-S.A. as owner of Certificate A1/02,1986 is the only R&D organization authorized by R.C.A.A. (member I.A.A.) to design all types of civil aircrafts. INAV-S.A. possess the secretariat of technical committees for national standards CT-67, CT-72, CT-296, CT-303 in the field Aeronautics and Space (ISO TC 20, CEN, CEI, ETSI, CCSDS etc.)
INAV is offering technical and scientific expertise to aeronautical and other high technology industries. Participating along with its customers and accompanying them in the development of Civil and Military Aircraft and Transport projects, our company provides engineering consulting and technical assistance, manages projects and designs, offers strategic advice and new concepts and patents.

Optimal use of the most advanced design technologies and immediate mobilisation of highly qualified human resources with leading-edge experience make our organisation totally dedicated to serve our clients and customers with highest quality and within tightest deadlines.

Since 1991, improving the valuable heritage of former INCREST, INAV has offered aeronautical industry leaders throughout the country its high-tech expertise and has developed an unique ability to meet the most difficult technological challenges.
? Our main research direction is to develop projects/technologies according to the dolphin profile concept in different fields (air and water).
